VocalizeIoT partners are convening in Nairobi on Friday, April 11, 2025, for a crucial in-person meeting hosted at Strathmore University from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (EAT). This session will focus on key activities within the project aimed at strengthening IoT skills in Vocational Education and Training (VET) across Kenya.
Representatives from ENGIM, @iLabAfrica, TNNP, and Waziup will be present, alongside remote participants from our partner institutions in Tanzania. The agenda includes:
- Reviewing the Hybrid Solution Lab deployment at TNNP (WP2): Gaining feedback and assessing progress.
- Planning the next “Train the Trainers” activities (WP3): Building capacity and expanding our reach.
- Discussing the Digital Transition curriculum (WP4): Reviewing the launched short course, certification progress, and planning future blended courses, hackathons, and learner projects.
- Strategizing on VET networking and dissemination in Kenya (WP5): Focusing on communication status and planning inter-VET and local business networking events.
